This procession tours the city along with social activists, community helpers, etc., as the volunteers collect prayers and hopes in the form of prayer cards from the passerby. This procession then halts at a crescendo, at a huge four-tiered platform where the prayer cards are lit on fire, releasing the written wishes. 

During the fire, Flem Chen dancers, singers, and drummers entertain a massive crowd of over 100,000 people. In Mercado San Augustin, new beginnings are celebrated with dances, music, and a small public market.
