Side effects of drinking Aloe vera juice:

Oral consumption of aloe vera juice is usually considered safe when taken in minimal quantities. Since the aloe vera juice contains the whole-leaf extract, consuming high doses of it is unsafe. However, consuming purified and decolorized aloe latex is safe.

Unpurified and colored aloe latex can result in severe dehydration and diarrhea. It is due to the presence of a laxative known as anthraquinone. Consumption of the aloe latex every day leads to kidney failure and can be detrimental.
