2. Whipped cream:
Whipped cream is one ingredient that is used in ample recipes these days. However, we are sure most of you buy it, rather than preparing it at home. Here we have for you the perfect recipe to make whipped cream at your own home.
To make whipped cream, you’ll require only 2-3 ingredients; heavy whipping cream, sweetener, and flavourings.
How to make whipped cream?
Put your mixing bowl in the freezer for around 20 minutes, to make it as cold as possible. After you take it out from the freezer, pour all the ingredients into the super-chilled bowl and whisk at a high speed for around a complete minute. And, voila, you’re done!
If you do not want to make vanilla-flavoured cream, you can add any other flavour of your choice, like coconut rum or bourbon, in place of the vanilla extract that we have added.
Keep one thing in mind, if you have added more liquid to your recipe, you’ll be needed to whip it a bit longer, more than one minute, to reach the stiff peak stage.
To make stabilized homemade whipped cream, you can add some amount of cream of tartar to make it last longer. For each cup of heavy whipping cream that you use, you can add ¼ teaspoon of cream of tartar to your recipe.
3. Orange liqueur:
Orange liqueurs are sweet, distilled spirits flavoured with citrus fruit. Orange liqueurs are one of the most used liqueurs of all available flavours and are produced worldwide. Some of the most common and precious drinks, like triple sec, Curacao, Grand Marnier, etc., use orange liqueur as one of their ingredients.
Orange liqueurs use a neutral grain base (like vodka), or even rum or brandy. The alcohol by volume (ABV) of these liqueurs generally ranges from 30 to 40 per cent. Three primary types of orange liqueurs are curacao, triple sec, and brandy-based. Some might contain additional ingredients like herbs, spices, or other flavours.
That’s all about blue moon shots. We are sure you are going to love this if you are a cocktail drink lover. And well, if you aren’t, we strongly recommend you to try this one out. Keep experimenting with your drinks, until you find the one you like the most, and we strongly hope blue moon shots turn out to be ‘the one’ for you.
