Spanning across six episodes, the series covers the United States where Tilman will explore potential hospitality products for his restaurants and casinos. In each episode, he will meet with two small businessmen to analyze their potential and compatibility to work with Landry’s Inc.

After assessing the products, Fertitta will suggest some amendments to be made in the product, which will be reviewed again at the end of the episode. Moreover, Fertitta overviews approximately 500 properties which represent 2 billion dollars.   

Tilman Fertitta’s, Landry’s Inc. is considered to be the second-largest private employer in Houston, running on 10,750 local employees. The CEO has overviewed more than 50 different brands ranging from Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Morton’s The Steakhouse, McCormick and Schmick’s , Rainforest Cafe, as well as five Golden Nugget Hotel and several other hotel properties.

The show expounds the tough financial world where Damian Lewis, playing the role of a 9/11 survivor Bobby Axe Axelrod, rises up to be the finance hotshot, as a hedge fund manager.

The sixth season was not able to get released due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It deals with the inception of a novel yet controversial tech idea of digital currency, known as GenCoin. This digital currency was the idea of a group of collaborators in Miami, which is also mixed with crime and thrill, including a crooked FBI agent chasing the ones who stole his money.

Apart from that, the series is a bit inclined to the pornographic imagery, including some male-gazing sex scenes. Due to these digressions, it feels that the show is sort of running astray from its original hacking thriller.

A 2020 Indian Netflix original documentary, Bad Boy Billionaires revolves around the lives of four major financial moguls of India, namely, Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy and Ramalinga Raju.

Although it might not seem parallel to a tv show like shark tank, it involves the early lives of these powerful and successful people who have taken great financial risks before being charged with corruption.

The documentary expounds the causes and the consequences of the financial scams that were initiated by all these people. The documentary is able to release only three episodes featuring the lives of Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Subrata Roy. However, the fourth episode featuring the lives of Ramalinga Raju is unavailable on the OTT platform.
